Furniture boards
Particle board is a three-layer wood-based board made of pressed wood chips. The inner layer consists of chips of a coarser fraction. The outer layers are made of microchips, thanks to which the board surface has low roughness. Raw particle boards can be refined by laminating, varnishing, or covering them with artificial and natural veneer. Particle boards are resistant to loads and easy to process.
Laminated boards are particle boards covered with paper saturated with thermosetting resins and do not require further processing. The lamination process involves pressing a decorative film and giving the board a texture.
